Rich currently serves as senior strategist for Vital for Colorado, a coalition of almost 60,000 businesses, community leaders and organizations in Colorado that support responsible energy development. He also advises several Fortune 500 companies on community outreach and communications strategies. Most recently, Coolidge served on the Government Data Advisory Board from 2008 to 2015. Coolidge has also served on the Littleton Historic Preservation Board and the Arapahoe County Citizen Budget Advisory Committee.
Before joining EIS, Coolidge served as the Communications Director and lobbyist for four Colorado Secretaries of State, including three Republicans and one Democrat. During that time, he served as the office’s media spokesman to numerous state, national and international media outlets and helped lead the state’s largest voter registration education campaign. He also built coalitions and navigated legislation improving the usability of the state’s campaign finance reporting system, protecting Colorado businesses from business identity theft, and securing funding for the first state-sponsored app challenge, Go Code Colorado.
Coolidge lives in Wheat Ridge with his wife Tiffany, son Grayson, and daughter Izzy.
